Around June we got the confirmation we'd be performing at Jazz Reckheim on the 21st of September. For this performance I composed and arranged 50 minutes of new music and dear haha, sometimes with some sweat and tears. BUT HEY! We did it. A set full of swing as well as intimate ballads together with such amazing musicians! Jo Didderen (double bass), Ron van Stratum (drums), Greg Torunski (alto sax), Mike Roelofs (piano), Simon Lutgens (trumpet) and Paul Saumets (tenor sax) thanks for trusting me. ;-)

Concert announcement!25 augustus speel ik live in de Zomertuin Kortrijk, om 17 uur. Gratis toegang. Hopelijk tot dan! ;)

Tonight I ‘backing vocalled :p’ in LOES+ at Muziekgieterij, Maastricht.Together with Aga Bukowska on backings, with Marloes De Nul on main vocals, Micky Laheij on drums, Sam Teeuwen on sax & flute, and the one and only MoRitZ Schippers on keys!I genuinely loved every second of it. :')Thanks for being so cool, Loesers!pictures by Frank Hirschhausen

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of my first album, I will release my first Live Session on YouTube exactly one year later: on the 7th of April, 2024.The song was written out of my fear for what was coming in this new chapter of my life; I had just finished my last harmony exam in my local music academy and told my teacher about the Conservatory plans for the upcoming year. He told me to be the waves, rather than the rock. That day we also started writing the song together.Funnily enough, this live version was recorded exactly there: at the Conservatory of Maastricht, my current music education school, the emblem of this new chapter. Life can be surprising in that sense. :') Click here, première at 6 PM! Be there :)

ONE MONTH of #sfap: chapter 1, my debut album.

Wow, what a rollercoaster it has been. Glad the EP’s officially out so these babies can start to lead their own lives. I hope they will. Though the origin will always thrive on my reflections and thoughts - from a past.

TOMORROW my debut album comes out!! I made a lil teaser to celebrate.

I made some art as if ‘little me’ could see the future already (setlist included)! PICK YOUR FAVOURITE AND SHARE IT :)
